My drivers window has rattled for many years. Whilst repairing the window regulator I found the cause. With the door card off prior to dismantling the door I found the felt Uber for the window channel lying inside at the bottom of the door. I found it made things easier if the top inner rail was removed and gave better access for removal of the glas ( and more importantly re-fitting ) and also gave more room to glue the felt channel back into place using contact adhesive. My felt had obviously been lying inside the door for years and was therefore in an under state; however if you do need to buy a replacement I’m sure Chris Prince could supply it. It looks identical to what I used to fit to my Series Land Rover.
