wiper motor box - Speed model/4.3

My 4.3 has some modern type wiper boxes which  a) means I have to holes in the dashboard. b) I have to get out and move the wipers down below the windscreen if I want to open it.  Neither are showstopper problems however it would be good to get something more original in place plus the current setup does not work at all so I if I had the original style wiper boxes I could still manually wipe the windscreen.  I do know Lucas did various wiper boxes which have been used in many cars into the 1950's however they also do seem to be noticeably different between each other so does anyone have the correct lucas part number, or pictures with dimensions which I can reference against when I start to wander around some scrap yards.   Chris Posted by chhym 09/03/2016 14:24:16

Chris,  This is probably not the answer you are looking for, but if you can't find the parts how about considering a set up from the 50's. Chris Prince can probably provide a complete set up from the TA-TC series. These can be altered to suit many hole configurations.   That said I will ask around here for images and numbers.    Richard Melbourne Posted by RichardWallach 24/04/2016 22:32:51

Chris,   I have two images from a Speed 25, one showing the wiper stem and blades and the other the location of the motor. If they are of use send me your email address as the BB will not accept the size of the images.   Richard Melbourne Posted by RichardWallach 26/04/2016 10:12:08

Thanks Richard.  I am trying to find a way of sending a private message to you with my email address but failing.  Any ideas anyone?   Chris Posted by chhym 26/04/2016 13:03:08
