SW Section Drive it Day - Somerset

Eleven Alvis cars plus a cute Austin A30 saloon set off from the beautiful grounds of Buckland House at Buckland St Mary home of Anthony & Christina Norton, some taking the offered 65 mile run down to the East Devon coast at Sidmouth while others enjoyed a somewhat shorter 30 mile run around the Blackdown Hills. Both runs enjoyed a common lunch stop at the Aviator Restaurant at Dunkeswell Airfield. A star arrival was a beautifully restored Crested Eagle limousine which was carrying a whole family of five adult passengers.
