South East Section Drive It Day - Ashdown Forest

A beautiful day dawned and we set of for Paulus Smith's house in the glorious West Sussex Countryside.
On arrival at his stunning home, dating from the 1500's, we ere greeted by other members, coffee bacon rolls and croissants.

There were 7 cars on display and friends in a Healey. Owen Swinerd had planned a short drive around the Ashdown Forest heading for our lunch destination at the Sloop Inn. It was a lovely run, along some very narrow lanes, a ford, glorious countryside and views.

On arrival at the Sloop, greeted by other SE AOC members who came along for lunch, giving us a great turn out, sitting outside on a very lovely day.
