A Festive High Tea in Newquay

As a special treat and a change from the traditional Christmas lunch format, a happy band of South West members met up recently at The Fistral Bay Hotel in Newquay for a rather special Christmas High Tea. The weather outside was grim to say the least although a number of young swimmers were observed board surfing in the rather rough sea in front the hotel. The atmosphere around our table was extremely festive and food on offer was judged excellent, and a number of ‘doggy bags’ were supplied to take home.
