East Anglian Autumn Break North Norfolk

This increasingly popular 4 day event has now been running for 5 years, with additional Members attending from the North, Midland and South East Sections. The difference this year is that by popular request it has moved from a Weekend to a Monday - Thursday event, with the result that 38 Members in total attended the event, and despite the local shortage of E5 petrol everyone got home safely. There were 13 classics in attendance, along with a few diesel moderns, predominantly TE’s and TF’s, with a couple of TA21’s, the well known grey TA 14 Duncan, and a local 12/50 Woody. There was a tour of  Wolterton Hall, which is being extensively renovated and the owner displayed his classic 1964 Bentley S3 originally owned by Brian Epstein the Beatles manager. A planned lunch visit to The Lord Nelson PH at Burnham Thorpe had to be abandoned at the last minute when they called to say there was a staffing issue, so we all scattered to all corners of West Norfolk finding various venues for lunch breaks. The weather was Normal for Norfolk with sunny periods and an occasional light drizzle. A great time was had by all and there was a request that it will be repeated for 2022. So watch out for the dates in the Pink-un and Calendar.
